This cosplay is 100% Upcycling - born out of the idea to make a group cosplay from CodeGeass together on the Romics. Only problem - that occurred to us the day before. Actually, a completely different cosplay was planned (the maids from MagicKnightRayearth - but the other both cosplayers had no chance to finish their costumes so we had to improve. // Btw. look at my CCS-Sakura cosplay - this was the planned costume ;) Upcycled again.) .
I know how we phoned around 9 pm in the evening - I said - Let's see how far I'm getting with Kaguya. Her answer: "On the way to Romics, we can still finish this as best we can by hand if necessary". At 10pm I had collected the fabric out of my stash and finished the first 2 patterns for the white collar and the kimono top. I sewed until 3 o'clock in the morning. I got up at about 9 o'clock - had breakfast with my mum and sewed again until 13 o'clock. I packed my bags and drove off to the meeting point where we wanted to continue together (I arrived there around 4pm) ... it was a disaster .... there was still so much to do .... >> I just had to sew on ONE button. << XD
I do not know how I should do that on the 8 hour drive to Rome :) hehe! *I'm proud*

Dieses Cosplay ist 100% Reststoffverwertung - aus der Idee heraus geboren zusammen auf der Romics ein Gruppencosplay aus CodeGeass zu machen. Einziges Problem - das fiel uns einen Tag vorher ein. Geplant war eigentlich ein ganz anderes Cosplay (die Maids aus MagicKnightRayearth) - aber den anderen beiden ist die Nähmaschine zuvor abgestorben. (Und da wir das Cosplay dann doch nie zusammen gemacht haben, habe ich was anderes draus gemacht, nämlich Sakura aus CCS )
Ich weiß wie wir abends gegen 21 Uhr telefoniert haben - ich habe gesagt - mal sehen wie weit ich komme. Ihre Antwort: "Auf dem Weg zur Romics können wir das notfalls noch per Hand so gut es geht beenden". Um 22 Uhr hatte ich den Stoff zusammengesucht und die ersten 2 Schnittmuster fertig für den weißen Kragen und das Kimonooberteil. Ich nähte bis um 3 Uhr morgens. Ich stand gegen 9 Uhr auf - frühstückte mit meiner Mum und nähte nochmal bis um 13 Uhr. Ich packte meine Taschen und fuhr los zum Treffpunkt wo wir gemeinsam weiterfahren wollten (ich kam gegen 16 Uhr dort an)... es war ein Desaster....es war noch sooo viel zu machen.... >> Ich musste nur noch einen Druckknopf annähen. << Ich weiß nicht wie ich das auf der 8 Stunden fahrt nach Rom nur machen sollte :) hehe! *ja da bin ich stolz drauf*
